Holy shit on me...Gorgoroth is working on a DVD! A description of it in their own words:
Gorgoroth have their brand new homepage up and running! Besides merchandise, a download section, the latest band news, a forum and a guestbook you'll find more universal band information and new pictures from every Gorgoroth member (taken by the approved Peter Beste!). This page will be updated regularly and it's definitely worth to behold! Check that hellish site at www.gorgoroth.org The guys are also preparing a live DVD which will be released next year. It'll be recorded in Poland / Krakow and you can look forward to an amazing live show, unique bonus material and interviews. "We have a big thing going on in Poland this month - DVD production, with lots of pyro, gallons of blood, live crucifixion, nude models used and abused in the name of Satan" says Infernus.

ICED EARTH PROVE THEIR POWER ON THE BILLBOARD TOP 200
ICED EARTH makes a stunning entry onto the Billboard charts this week as their new album ‘THE GLORIOUS BURDEN’ debuts at #145 on the Top 200 Chart and captures the #4 spot on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums Chart.
The legends of U.S. metal are also making news around the globe, as the album debuts at #15 on the German charts, #24 in Austria, #30 in Finland and #77 in Switzerland.
These strong first-week sales numbers come directly on the heels of some other very impressive action for the band. The album is also being embraced by metal radio, as proven by their rapid ascent to the #1 position on CMJ’s Loud Rock chart and the print media action has been simply furious.
ICED EARTH are gearing up for a full-scale North American tour beginning April 18th with support coming from Children Of Bodom. Confirmed dates appear below. Also keep an eye out for the ICED EARTH TV spots now running nationwide on Uranium and Headbangers Ball!

Official Stratovarius Press Release: New vocalist for Stratovarius is called "Miss K"
The vocal talents of this sultry Finnish lady vary from raunchy rock to classical operatic. Her voice range is over 3 octaves and she is capable of transforming the Stratovarius sound to something unique, something that has never been heard in Metal before.
She is 30 years old and has a background in gymnastics, where she has twice become a Finnish Champion, and in acting. She has until now been singing in some local bands and has done over 200 gigs. Drummer for the next album will be Anders Johansson, the brother of Jens Johansson.
After selling over 1 500 000 copies of their previous records, Stratovarius is now ready to take the next step in their career.
The band will enter the studio, a secret place, in May to record 11th studio album, which has a working title "PopKiller". The album is due February 2005 followed up by massive World Tour.

If you want to try a completely AWESOME Tea blend look no further. This stuff is almost too expensive for Iced Tea (I do it anyways) and it is awesome. Hot straight from the pot it is the perfect beverage to any meal or event (Late night conversations with that special someone).

If you ever...EVER had any doubt about how cool Rhapsody is, then check this out. Christopher Lee with be a featured vocalist on their next album!

Mr. Christopher Lee - the grand seigneur of film and one of the most filmed actors in history will join the world famous symphonic metal band Rhapsody on their next CD. Mr. Lee is no stranger to music and recording studios as he is a classically trained opera singer himself. He will be providing a powerful narration on the forthcoming self produced CD of the Italian based group.
Among other well known narrators and London actors, Lee will guide the listeners in the role of a king through a unique saga invented by RHAPSODY's founding members Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. As a special surprise Mr. Lee's daughter Christina Lee will also appear in the part of a warrior princess. Incidentally this will mark the first time father and daughter will work together.
This portion of the production will be handled by award winning producer Joey DeMaio. Not only known for his record production work with the group MANOWAR but he has also produced numerous rock groups, and has the distinction of producing epic narrations with the late Orson Welles. Production is set for the third week of December in the London Sanctuary Townhouse Studios.
"It is a dream come true. We couldn't believe it when our management informed us that our hero Mr. Lee agreed to be part of our new CD. We are extremely thankful and honored that this outstanding legend of film and theatre has chosen to work with us", says Luca Turilli. "We believe Mr. Lee will definitely bring our vision and dreams to reality", adds Alex Staropoli. "It will be an honor to shake his hand for the first time."
This CD will contain 10 new songs and almost 80 minutes of music, featuring grand epic, fast metal tracks and sonic landscapes with stirring narrative and will be the debut of a new style of Heavy Metal music created by RHAPSODY known as Film Score Metal.
After five critically acclaimed albums this new, yet untiteld release is being recorded in four different studios in Europe with appearances by more than a dozen international guest soloists. Supported by the entire Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra from the Czech Republic as well as a 50 piece choir this new CD will set the world of Symphonic Metal on fire.
The tentative release date on Magic Circle Music /SPV – Steam-hammer has been set for May 2004
