Day Trip!

Here are some pictures of the day trip we took to Port Hueneme!

We wouldn't necessarily suggest the place to anyone, it isn't as beautiful as say Santa Monica or Newport Beach but the drive was a lot of fun!

More on Demons and Wizards

From Blabbermouth:

BLIND GUARDIAN frontman Hansi Kürsch has posted the following message at the group's official web site:"Though you have not heard a lot from us during the last months we have not been lazy at all. There are a lot of things going on at the moment. Just to mention a few: the DEMONS AND WIZARDS production is making good progress and the same can be said about the songwriting for the next BLIND GUARDIAN album which is at a very important point."André [Olbrich, guitar] and I have completed five songs for the new album and 10 songs for the orchestral project. Yesterday, we had a meeting with Charlie Bauerfeind (who is going to produce both albums) during which we have set up a rough schedule for the next months. We definitely will start the production within the year and it won't take as much time to accomplish it as it did with 'A Night at the Opera'."With regards to the next DEMONS AND WIZARDS album I am happy to tell you that five songs have been mixed for it already and that there are seven more to go. How many of them we are going to use for the regular album and how many we will use as bonus material I can't tell you right now. There are 11 Schaffer/Kürsch songs and one cover tune. We will be done with everything mid-February. The album surely will be released in late spring, or early summer. I am very pleased with the songs and so is Jon [Schaffer, ICED EARTH mainman]. My favorite tune at the moment is called 'Touched by the Crimson King'. We have not spoken about an album title yet but have to make a decision rather soon. I will let you know."

New pictures!

My new baby cousin was born early Monday morning, I have 4 pictures of her! And 2 pictures of my Aunt's completed house remodel that she did before selling the place:

The Order of the Stick - by Rich Burlew

The Order of the Stick - by Rich Burlew Funniest thing I've seen in a while.... But be careful, it's addictive and there are 140 of them

Baby Cheetahs

Now that is cute.

This sucks hardcore.

When fate is mean, it is really mean. Some images of what happened to Crimson's car during the holiday's. It looks like a tree branch fell from a tree right onto his car. Much sympathies bro! :(

Longhorn Schedule Updates

For those who don't know Microsoft Windows Longhorn is the code name given to the next operating system Microsoft is developing. The link below gives timelines for when it is going to be released.

Robot, Dance!

I found this amusing until I saw at the bottom that it can help with Construction jobs and also 'drive a car'. That is pretty cool.

Giving Away Millions

Neat article on Encarta that talks about how Percy Ross gave away somewhere around $30 million dollars to people over his lifetime. Don't know who he is? Read it.

Rumors about Shakespeare

"Shakespeare’s Writings Indicate He May Have Had Syphilis"

MSNBC - NASA launches comet-busting probe

I heard about this from someone the other day, but it wasn't until I read this article that I truly believed we are attempting this...

I would be amazed if it connected.

MSNBC - Early mammal snacked on a dinosaur

This is extremely interesting. They are saying that during the Cretaceous Period there were mammals (dog looking creatures) that hunted small dinosaurs. This contradicts a main theory that during that period of the earth's history mammals were the size of chipmunks and running in fear of huge dinosaurs.
